JC-3000S Wall Installed Ultrasonic Flow Meter
JC-3000S ultrasonic flow meter is designed to measure the fluid velocity of liquid within a closed conduit. The transducers are a non-contacting, clamp-on type, which will provide benefits of non-fouling operation and easy installation.
BCST Ultrasonic Flow Meter Description
JC-3000S&©|160;transit-time flow meter utilizes&©|160;two transducers that function as&©|160;both ultrasonic transmitters and receivers. The&©|160;transducers are clamped&©|160;on the outside of a closed&©|160;pipe at a specific distance&©|160;from each other. The transducers can be mounted in V-method&©|160;where&©|160;the sound transverses the pipe&©|160;twice,&©|160;or&©|160;W-method&©|160;where the sound transverses the pipe four times, or&©|160;in Z-method&©|160;where the transducers are mounted on opposite sides of the pipe and the sound crosses the pipe&©|160;once. This selection&©|160;of the mounting method depends&©|160;on pipe and liquid characteristics. The flow meter operates by alternately transmitting and receiving a frequency modulated burst of sound&©|160;energy between the two transducers and measuring the&©|160;transit&©|160;time that it takes for sound to travel between the two transducers. The difference in the&©|160;transit&©|160;time measured is directly&©|160;and exactly&©|160;related to the velocity of the liquid in the&©|160;pipe, show as follows:&©|160;
